David Dodini

CMHC

David Dodini is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and PhD student in Counselor Education and Supervision with over six years of experience in direct clinical practice and mental health training.

His clinical and research focus centers on men's mental health, pornography use, and the relational impact of betrayal trauma—work that bridges individual recovery with the broader relational harm experienced by partners and families.

David has contributed to peer-reviewed research published in *Sexual and Relationship Therapy*, examining readiness to change among pornography consumers, and has presented at regional and national conferences on topics spanning adolescent help-seeking and therapeutic coaching. He was recently a guest on the LDS Mental Health podcast discussing men's pornography use and betrayal trauma, and has previously spoken on how men's mental health shapes the women in their lives.

In his clinical work, David is committed to approaching addiction not as an individual failure but as a relational wound—one that requires honest accountability, attuned support, and carefully paced repair.

He brings both the rigor of research and the warmth of clinical experience to his work with individuals and couples navigating the aftermath of broken trust.

David is honored to contribute to a space that holds complexity with compassion and centers healing for all those affected.
